I need some ideas, quick, about what to do with 4 cups of tomato liquid. It’s not tomato purée, it’s the liquid that I got after straining the jelly and the seeds from middle of a bunch of tomatoes. It’s much thinner than tomato purée, and doesn’t have any fiber in it. What should I do with this?

Add it to soup? Make bloody Mary’s?

I portion mine out. Freeze it in pint size jars and use it for soup or thinning out sauces. Bloody Mary, from fresh tomato sauce are amazing, too. Or make your own V8 veggie juice. Good luck.

I like the idea of sticking it in the freezer and waiting for inspiration to strike. Thanks!

I’d freeze it and use it in chilli or as a component in a braising liquid for beef or pork.

It went into the freezer. Hopefully inspiration strikes in mid winter when I’m not quite so sick of tomatoes.
